Madagascar Criollo 65% Cacao Bittersweet Chocolate – Made primarily from rare Criollo beans from the fertile Sambirano Valley in Madagascar, it mingles tart essences with deep, rich chocolate flavor.

The Criollo is dark chocolate’s finest – it is the “Arabica bean” of the three varieties and has notes of tobacco, caramel, and vanilla. The Criollo is also the rarest of the three predominant cacao beans and is often harvested in smaller batches.

A Novel Concept

At Rich Nature we’re always thinking of ways to showcase super fruits. These fruits are, after all, exotic and amazing and conceptual all in itself, so why not give them a more beautiful platform to admire and be eaten on?

The golden berry is an ancient amazing super berry from the Andes with a flavor that no other super fruit dares to rival. It’s a combination of tart and sweet with just the slightest hint of vanilla bean.

That’s why it made perfect sense to pair this exotic berry with this exotic chocolate – together their flavors compliment each other and each brings out the best in the other. The golden berry’s tartness is rounded out by the smoothness and caramel character of the 65% Madagascar Criollo.

We’re not chocolate experts. We don’t make it, we don’t buy it, but we know it and we consume it. That is why, since we’re not chocolate purveyors, we have called on experts to make this for us – this is a product of taste, expertise, valuable experiences combined.

Our 65 Madagascar Rounds are hand crafted in Washington State by a Swiss chocolatier that only uses the finest covertures in their products. This product is available only seasonally to ensure freshness from November until the end of February and again for a limited time in May.

Pre-order

Because quantities are limited (we only make a few hundred cases at a time), it is important to pre-order in order to guarantee availability. To say that we may run out would be an understatement, so please order soon and don’t miss out!

All orders placed between now and December 14th will be shipped by December 15th via Priority Mail (as our standard, even if you choose Ground shipping), or your upgraded shipping option.
